When
you take time and energy to visit Monument
Valley,
you should see the land of the Navajo people in the most profound and
intimate manner: by walking or trekking the homeland of the Navajo.
Trekking Monument Valley
takes you
through a beautiful yet isolated landscape which has captured the world's
imagination since the late 1930's. The land still captures the
imagination today with Hollywood
films
about the "wild west" and John Wayne; but not many have truly experienced
or heard the voice of the Navajo/Dine. Come witness the deep connection
one can make to the land here. Take time to trek the homeland here, bring
your camera and experience what the desert landscape holds in store for
the human body and the camera.
