  Horseback Tours

As Navajo people of Monument Valley we owe much of our success to the relationship we have with horses. The horse is an important, integrated aspect of the Navajo culture. When you are in the midst of our horses, you are directly participating in our cultural experience. Our professional horseback guides are available from morning to sunset offering private trail rides. Our guides will expertly match you with a horse based on your riding experience. The perfect horse is waiting to embark upon a majestic trail through Monument Valley that is just right for you.

Experienced riders, this trail ascends via a narrow trail along the face of the mesa. Those with issues pertaining to heights are advised to try a different ride. This trail is also available as a walking/hiking tour. Experienced riders who are not afraid of heights.
